Kosmar accelerates expansion of homeworking arm

Kosmar is to accelerate the expansion of homeworking arm Tailor Made Experts.

The aim is to reach 250 staff by the end of 2023 while offering services to both new and existing homeworkers.

The strategy to “significantly grow” the division is due to be outlined early in 2021.

Kosmar currently offers a single homeworking solution for experienced travel professionals with a proven track record.

The new strategy will see three new packages being introduced tailored to different homeworking needs.

Tailor Made Experts is described by Sheffield-based Travel Trust Association member Kosmar as a “small, yet highly profitable” part of the business.

Hayley Jones and Louise Goodlad as been appointed internally as recruitment and training managers to support the expansion plan.

Managing director Jhy Worsnop-Hesford said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to see Hayley and Louise will be responsible for recruiting and training our new Tailor Made Experts.

“Both are successful homeworkers with us and harbour a wealth of experience. I’ll be working closely with Louise, Hayley and the support team to make sure we deliver the best possible service for our Tailor Made Experts.

“One of these new packages will see the conception of a training academy which will deliver an in-depth learning programme for new recruits without the usual experience that comes with travel homeworking.

“The benefits that we currently offer our Tailor Made Experts will be mirrored in our three new solutions landing early next year.

“These include a leading commission of 85%, access to hundreds of suppliers, a 24/7 duty office alongside a central support team and full financial protection for clients.”
