A new financial chief is being sought by Gatwick after incumbent Nick Dunn stood down.
Dunn is joining digital infrastructure firm CityFibre after a decade as chief financial officer for the airport.
Deputy CFO Lorenzo Rebel will assume overall responsibility of the finance function in the interim until a full-time replacement is recruited.
Gatwick, the UK’s second largest airport, is 50.01% owned by private airport operator VINCI Airports with the remainder held by infrastructure investor Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).
Chief executive Stewart Wingate said: “I would personally like to thank Nick for all of his efforts at Gatwick.
“I am proud to have worked closely with him over the past 10 years, especially during the significant changes of recent times, which have been unprecedented in Gatwick’s history.
“Nick is a strategic thinker and has contributed hugely as part of my team.
“I wish him the very best of luck and every success with the next stage of his career. We have already commenced the process of finding Nick’s successor.”
