Birmingham, Bristol, Stansted and Dublin will gain low cost Ryanair flights to Budapest this summer.
The budget carrier is opening the new routes to the Hungarian capital from March in addition to a service from Bologna.
The airline expects to carry 200,000 passengers on the new services in a year, creating up to 200 jobs at Budapest airport.
Ryanair put one million seats on sale at £9.99, for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in late February and early March, which are available for booking until midnight tomorrow Thursday. The five new Budapest routes go on sale today.
CEO Michael O’Leary said: “Now Hungarian consumers/visitors can beat the recession and escape Wizzair’s high fares by switching to Ryanair’s lowest fares and our no fuel surcharge guarantee.”
