The former Almond Morgan Bay St. Lucia has joined the Elite Island Resorts group of Caribbean hotels and has been renamed Morgan Bay Beach Resort.
The 343-room all-inclusive property will be stepping up its profile in the UK travel trade and a new section about the resort has been added to the group’s online training at www.agentelitetraining.co.uk.
Elite Island Resorts also aims to create tailored packages to target the wedding and honeymoons, couples, family and health and fitness markets.
Morgan Bay Beach Resort joins St James’s Club, The Verandah Resort & Spa and Galley Bay in Antigua along with LaSource in Grenada and Palm Island in the Grenadines in the Elite portfolio.
European managing director Paula Whitehead said: “All our resorts are well loved by British holidaymakers and Morgan Bay Beach Resort, St Lucia is a perfect fit with our mix of all-inclusive beachfront resorts and spas.
“We’ll be working closely with agents and operators as we include it in our training programme and introduce new packages for our target markets.”
