Advantage offers website and latecard solutions

Advantage Travel Centres members are being offered a leg up onto the internet and social media.

The consortium has linked up with online travel technology specialist Net Effect to offer agents a searchable, non-bookable website solution and access to a late offers distribution platform at a discounted rate.

The website will allow customers to search holidays showing live availability, browse resort images, watch video and take virtual tours.

Facebook pages and Twitter accounts will be set up with automatic feeds so that offers appear on a member’s social media pages.

Agents can use a blog function as an additional communication tool and to show their expertise and experience on travel destinations.

The websites are fully managed by Net Effect, excluding the blogs, so members gain a highly functional web presence with minimal work required, Advantage claims.

The LateCards distribution platform uses a database of holiday offers loaded by operators for members to print onto offer cards for windows or as an email to send to customers. The offers can also be integrated into a member’s website, their Facebook page and Twitter feed. The live offers are updated automatically and ensuring the best offers are shown with current availability.

Advantage online promotions manager Wendy Missenden said: “Designed by travel specialists for travel agents these solutions are tailored to the requirements of our members and eliminate the need for them to spend time loading offers or content on their website or writing lates cards for their windows.”
