Advantage signs deal with Asian group

Advantage business travel agents are to work closely with a group of counterparts in Asia as part of a new collaboration agreement.

The consortium’s international network Worldwide Independent Travel Network (WIN) has signed a partnership with Far East-based Corporate Travel Alliance.

The deal with CTA adds 15 countries, from China and Korea to Thailand and Indonesia, to the WIN travel management company network, bringing the total to around 40.

The two organisations will work closely together to share air fares and global business travel accounts between members.

CTA will also make use of the WIN corporate hotel programme which offers preferred rates at more than 25,000 hotels worldwide.

WIN chief executive Neil Armorgie said: “This partnership comes at the right time to tap into Asia’s growth in travel and enables both organisations to strengthen their positioning in key locations around the world.”

CTA partner relations director Benjamin Christen added: “Such a collaboration of strong, like-minded groupings gives our clients the widest possible range of benefits from cost-savings and competitive air fares to improved commercial terms.”
