Thomas Cook aircraft makes emergency landing at Belfast

An aircraft has made an emergency landing at Belfast airport after developing technical problems taking off.


Emergency crews were put on standby at Belfast airport after a the aircraft reported difficulties.The aircraft was an Airbus A320 was flying to Tenerife.


It is understood the plane took off shortly before 10am and was circling over the area before landing safely.


It is believed the Thomas Cook aircraft developed problems with its undercarriage.
