Morocco winter sun flights reinstated

Royal Air Maroc is to reinstate routes from Gatwick and Manchester from February in a bid to revive winter-sun holidays.

Flights to Marrakech will resume on February 11 with four services a week, alongside Agadir three times a week. Manchester will gain two flights a week to Agadir.

Royal Air Maroc currently serves Casablanca three times a week from Heathrow, while Air Arabia flies from Gatwick to Tangier twice-weekly.

Ryanair has also resumed operations to Morocco, with flights from Liverpool to Marrakech and Manchester to Agadir.

Morocco announced the relaxation of border restrictions to UK residents in September.
