AmaWaterways has released details of a cruise with a wine expert from Kent vineyard Chapel Down on board for the first time.
The seven-day Danube sailing, departing on November 13 this year, is part of the line’s Celebration of Wine cruise programme.
Passengers will take part in tastings and wine presentations led by a Chapel Down expert during the sailing from Budapest to Vilshofen in Germany.
Chapel Down, based in Tenterden, Kent, supplies wine to UK venues, including Selfridges and Harrods, plus 10 Downing Street.
AmaWaterways’ UK managing director Jamie Loizou said: “While on board, our knowledgeable wine hosts take our guests on a journey between the Old World and the New World of winemaking.
