Abta has been rated as a ‘business superbrand’ for the sixth consecutive year.
The travel association is named in the top 500 Business Superbrands for 2012 with a ranking higher than easyJet, BMI and Travelodge.
Business Superbrands is an annual barometer of the country’s strongest brands as chosen by an independent, expert vote.
Abta said its demonstration of quality, reliability and distinction has meant it has received superbrand status again.
A spokeswoman said: “The vote recognises Abta’s enduring relevance and appeal among consumers, something that is very important for our members to help them grow their businesses.
“Our own research shows that consumers recognise us for our high standards of expertise, reliability and fairness with an overall 79% brand awareness.”
