Royal Caribbean brands extend ‘Cruise with Confidence’ policy

Royal Caribbean Group has extended its ‘Cruise with Confidence’ programme, so that it will apply to bookings made before the end of April 2021.

It will be applicable to Royal Caribbean International and Azamara cruises on or before April 30, 2022, and means that guests have the flexibility to cancel their cruise up to 48 hours before sailing and receive a full credit of the cruise fare paid. For Celebrity Cruises, the extension applies to sailings before May 4, 2022.

The Future Cruise Credit (FCC) can be used for a cruise on or before September 30, 2022.

The cruise giant will also continue to offer its ‘Best Price Guarantee’ where guests can choose to change the price and promotional offer on reservations up to 48 hours before their cruise.

Richard Fain, Royal Caribbean Group chairman and chief executive, said: “As the world has changed, so have we. We want our guests to have peace of mind when booking a cruise, and extending this popular programme gives them more freedom and flexibility to make informed decisions.”

The policy has been extended several times over the course of the pandemic to help buoy customer confidence.
