Flights from the UK to the Azores are to resume next month after closing for the winter.
The SATA International service will operate on Saturdays between April 7 and until October 27 from Gatwick to Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel, the largest of the Azorean islands.
Weekday flights will also be available from Heathrow to Ponta Delgada via Lisbon.
The weekly direct flight from Gatwick takes under four hours, with fares starting at £311.70 return, including taxes and charges.
SATA also runs onward connections to the nine islands of the Azores archipelago.
