Royal and Celebrity offer agent incentive as part of summer push

Agents are being offered £20 shopping vouchers as part of a summer cruise push by Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.

The Love to Shop vouchers will be given to agents making bookings in May for departures this summer.

The sister lines are cutting prices in dual sales which runs from April 30.

A new six-page consumer brochure will be distributed to agents to rack.

Royal Caribbean International’s ‘Ultimate Sale’ is an extension of the current Don’t Wait campaign and will continue to offer regional departures throughout the summer.

Prices lead in at £549 per person for a seven-night Western Mediterranean fly/cruise on Adventure of the Seas in June.

Celebrity Cruises’ campaign features double stateroom upgrades from inside to balcony, free flights on selected sailings and heavily reduced fares.

An 11-night Eastern Mediterranean Celebrity Equinox fly/cruise starts at £1,099pp including return flights from Heathrow and an upgrade from an interior to a balcony cabin.

UK and Ireland associate vice president and general manager Jo Rzymowska said:
