Fred Olsen launches online agent centre

A re-designed agents’ website has been introduced by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.

The Travel Agents’ Centre section of the line’s main site provides online training, details of how to contact sales support, request point of sale material and order brochures.

E-posters can be customised and downloaded by agents.

The site also carries latest news releases and a weekly sales newsletter called ‘Focus Update’.

To mark the launch of the new website, agents can enter a competition to win an iPad by following the company on Twitter @FOCLSalesTeam and post a tweet saying what they like most about the new website using #FredTAC.

The competition will run until May 30. The best response received tas chosen by the judging panel at Fred Olsen will be the winner. Bonus points will be awarded for creative entries.

Login details will remain the same, so agents will automatically be able to access the new site.

Sales and marketing director Nathan Philpot said: ‘We have been working on this project for the last six months.

“The site has all the resources to help agents sell Fred Olsen at their fingertips. The Travel Agents’ Centre features a variety of helpful tools, from an easy-to-use image library for marketing and promotions, to a question-and-answer section, covering pretty much everything about the Fred Olsen cruise experience.

“There are great staff profiles where you can find out more about our friendly team here at Fred HQ.’

Trade marketing co-ordinator Holly Goddard added: “We’d like to thank all the agents who gave us feedback which was really useful when we were redesigning the site; we have taken all their comments on board and I hope they will be as pleased with the results as we are. We want this to be the best possible website for agents; easy to use, informative and fun.”
