Two Attraction World bosses have been named as entrepreneur of the year finalists.
Managing director Paul Stobbs and group sales and marketing director Tony Seaman will compete in the Midlands regional final of the Ernst & Young competition in Birmingham on June 19. If successful, the will go on to the national final in October.
The awards recognise top UK business leaders who have shown drive and innovation in starting and growing companies in challenging economic conditions and provide a boost to established and unsung heroes across all sectors.
A judging panel will make their decision based on a number of criteria, including entrepreneurial spirit; innovation; strategic direction; leading and building teams; financial performance; national and global impact; and companies’ approach to social responsibility.
Seaman said: “These awards recognise individuals who are propelling growth and innovation despite the challenging economic climate.
“We are thrilled to be listed as finalists in the Midlands and this comes just 16 months after our MBO.
“Paul and I have worked hard to grow Attraction World into the business it is today and constantly drive it forward.”
