Tall ship sailing line Star Clippers has added short break cruises in the Baltics for 2013.
This follows the introduction of shorter taster cruises in the Mediterranean this summer.
The company’s mini cruises in 2013 start at £690 per person, cruise-only, for three nights on Star Flyer, including the `Sailing Parade’ tall ships festival in Hamburg.
A five-night Athens to Malta sailing this October leads in at £999pp, including flights and transfers.
UK general manager Fay McCormack said: “We find more and more guests who have perhaps already spent their main holiday on board one of our ships are treating themselves to a second mini-break.
“And for first-time cruisers, often people who have seen and admired the ships in port, these shorter voyages are the perfect way to test out life on a magnificent sailing ship before committing to a longer voyage.”
