GILLAirways is increasing capacity on Bournemouth flights to Scotland next month.
The airline is also cutting journey times by eliminating stops in Glasgow for Edinburgh services. From September 20, Gill will have double daily non-stop flights to Glasgow and daily services to Edinburgh during the week. There will also be a daily Sunday flight on each route.
A Gill spokesman said the carrier had inherited a complicated schedule from Euroscot Express when it took over the routes in June and the new timetable would simplify travelling (Travel Weekly July 19). The carrier wants the new schedule in place before the Labour Party conference in Bournemouth at the end of September. Fares lead in at £102.60 return.
