Bahraini prince charged after ‘storming’ BA cockpit

A Bahraini billionaire prince has been charged with being drunk on an aircraft after he reportedly stormed the cockpit to complain about the poor service.

Mubarak Hamad allegedly began shouting and complaining shortly after boarding the British Airways Boeing 777 from Heathrow to Doha in Qatar via Bahrain.

Members of the crew were forced to call the police after he made his way into the cockpit and refused to go back to his seat, the Daily Telegraph reported.

He was led off the aircraft by officers armed with stun guns and taken to a police station. He is due to appear before magistrates in Uxbridge later this month.
