Kuoni is close to selling luxury ski specialist Ski Verbier, according to reports at the weekend.
Switzerland-based Kuoni is in talks on a sale with investment firm Bluebird Partners, based in London. The Sunday Times reported the pair have been in talks for a year and suggested a deal is imminent.
Kuoni reported in September that it was close to selling a range of loss-making tour operations.
In a statement, Kuoni said it “no longer wants to run these activities and will explore exit options … The portfolio reduction affects European tour operating activities that have been loss-making for several years.”
Bluebird is a relatively new investment firm, founded in 2010, which targets the leisure sector and owns holiday parks on the Isle of Wight.
