Royal Caribbean adds all-inclusive drinks package

An all-inclusive drinks package is being introduced by Royal Caribbean International.

Costing $55 per passenger, per day, the ‘premium beverage package’ covers beer, house wine by the glass, juices and soda, frozen drinks and all cocktails.

A lesser ‘classic’ deal covering just beer, wine, alcohol-free cocktails, soda and juices costs $45 a day.

The drink deals are available on 13 ships and will be extended to the rest of the fleet operating seven-night or longer itineraries by early 2013.

Passengers choosing either package must also purchase the package for guests 21 years old or older sailing in the same cabin.

A number of speciality dining options are also being made available to allow passengers to pre-book signature restaurants such as Giovanni’s Table, Izumi Asian Cuisine and Chops Grille.

Passenger have the choice of an overall package or smaller options.

Operations executive vice president Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said: “Royal Caribbean International is in the midst of an extensive revitalisation programme that will leave no ship untouched and includes enhancing the variety of new dining and beverage options for our guests.

“The addition of these new beverage and culinary packages creates a seamless holiday experience for our guests, providing them with a greater selection of choices and delivering it to them at an incredible value and convenience.”
