Club Med has agreed to lease a ski resort in the Italian Alps from a Scottish property developer.
The French all-inclusive operator is to lease the resort for at least 15 years in what is reported to be a multi-million euro deal.
Entrepreneur Mark Shaw acquired the ski centre and spa in Pragelato near Turin a year ago for about €30 million, the Sunday Times reported.
The site was built for the 2006 Winter Olympics at a cost of more than €100 million but it fell into receivership two years later.
Shaw has upgraded Pragelato, adding four ski runs, according to the newspaper.
