Tennis star Andy Murray is being touted as a potential new owner of a Scottish hotel.
According to a report in The Scotsman, Murray has been linked with the 14-room Cromlix House hotel in his home town of Dunblane, which closed in February last year.
The hotel was the venue for Murray’s brother’s wedding, and is well-placed for access to the Gleneagles resort, which hosts the next Ryder Cup in 2014.
The report contains speculation that Murray could be intending to refurbish the hotel, though it also suggests he could have acquired the property to convert to a luxury home.
