American Express Travel Services has signed afive-year deal with ICIto become the chemical giant’s exclusive travelsupplier. For the past few years, Amex has supplied 60% of ICI’s corporate card and corporate travel needs in 55 countries.

Best Western has appointed former French Life agency sales manager Julia Slater as its new national sales manager leisure. Slater resigned from the company afterformer Stena Line national sales manager David Stamp was appointed group business development manager (Travel Weekly July 12).
