Oceania Cruises is to invite 200 agents on board Oceania Marina on June 11 for a gala luncheon to celebrate its 10-year anniversary this year.
The line’s top travel agent partners will be invited to Southampton to sample the line’s gourmet cuisine during a VIP six-course lunch.
They will also be treated to a ship tour and presentation by Bob Binder, vice chairman of Prestige Cruise Holdings, Oceania’s parent company. Binder will then escort the Oceania Marina sailing on June 11 to the Baltic.
Bernie Carter, managing director Oceania Cruises UK and Europe, said: “Now that we’re coming to the first anniversary of securing our Atol and Abta licences, demand has even been overwhelming and we’re working with all of the major retail chains which has already resulted in a much stronger high street presence and awareness amongst consumers.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase one of our amazing O-Class ships to both cruise specialist agents and the wider travel industry, such as travel professionals from the likes of Thomas Cook, Tui and independents belonging to various consortia.”
Carter is offering 10 places on the VIP day and gourmet luncheon to Travel Weekly readers. For a chance to win, email editorial@travelweekly.co.uk with your name, address and agency details.
