BA to fly A380 to Los Angeles and Hong Kong

British Airways will fly its first Airbus A380 on the “Red Carpet Route” from London to Los Angeles.


The carrier’s second superjumbo will fly to Hong Kong.


BA launched the routes with actress Gemma Arterton (pictured) today.


British Airways’s first A380 is due to be delivered in July and seats are now on sale for flights from October 15, 2013.


Special offer fares start at £499 return in World Traveller with a £380


upgrade available for customers wanting to move up to World Traveller Plus.


Club World return fares start from £1,900.


Flights on the Hong Kong route are available for travel from November 15, with prices starting from £559 return in economy and £1,900 in Club World.
