The Ace River Cruise Convention will take place in Cologne for the first time this year.
The event, which will take place on November 17 and 18, is expected to attract 400 delegates.
The first day will be held on board MS RheinEnergie, a floating business centre. On the second day, agents will have the chance to visit ships operated by eWaterways, Lueftner Cruises, Riviera Travel, Shearings, The River Cruise Line and Uniworld.
Ace director Andy Harmer said: ‘With a record number of British passengers taking a river holiday, we are seeing more travel agents than ever before becoming interested in selling river cruises.
“There is no other event in the world that offers agents the opportunity to see firsthand so many different styles of river ship and to hear from key speakers on the latest industry developments.
