Fred Olsen Travel has launched a tour operating brand specialising in holidays to central Europe.
Abta bonded Fred offers travel to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other countries in the region.
The programme covers city breaks, lakes and mountain holidays, river cruises, beer festivals, rail holidays and tailor-made options.
Fred will also be the general sales agent for the five-star MS Mozart river cruise vessel which operates on the River Danube.
Accommodation has been sourced in association with Dertour’s German head office.
The operator’s Lawrence Peachey said: “Germany, Austria and Switzerland are very popular short break destinations for Brits and so we think that Fred offers fills a gap in the market as we are experts in this region of central Europe and so we can offer fantastic short breaks and holidays whether its Christmas Markets or city breaks.”
Prices start at £259 per person for a two-night break to Berlin including return flights.
