Trinifold Travel, whose clients include George Michael, Elton John and record label Polygram, has gone into administration and is set to be sold to US travel agents Altour. The London business travel agency looks set to lose its International Air Transport Association licence after failing to keep uppayments.



n elegant hotels plans caribbean expansion



Barbados and Antigua hotel group Elegant Hotels isconsidering expansion to other Caribbean islands.



The group operates the largest bedstock onBarbados with fiveproperties on the island. It also has one property on Antigua.



n swallow appoints non-executive chairman



Swallow Group has appointed George Greener non-executive chairman, to replace temporarypost-holder Anthony Wood who will continue as anon-executive director. Greener is the former chief executive of Hillsdown Holdings and is currently chairman of BritishWaterways. He waspreviously managingdirector of MarsConfectionery, chiefexecutive of Allied Dunbar Assurance and chiefexecutive of BAT Financial Services.



n holiday autos gets new account manager



Holiday Autos has appointed Steve O’Loughlin as national accountmanager for touroperations. O’Loughlin joins the car-rental broker from Olympic Holidays where he was sales and marketing manager. As well ashandling tour operator accounts, O’Loughlin’s newly created position will increase the role he plays in expanding and developing Holiday Autos’ existing client base. He will report directly to sales director UK and Ireland Ian Derbyshire.
