Site layout: Ybag has suppliers that sell goods and services other than travel, so you have to find the right section. The travel channel gives you a range of options – adventure holidays, flights, packages, sporting holidays and others. The site has a bright, friendly design and is easy to navigate.
Registering as a user: very simple and straightforward. You tap in a a user name, password, e-mail address and postcode and then click on a button.
Holiday request: I made two requests. The first was for a fortnight’s holiday for two in Florida this July, priced around £1,500 per person. The other was for a cheap flight from London Heathrow or Gatwick to Stuttgart in Germany.
Quality of response: requests were lodged at 11.30am. Some 24hrs after I lodged my request, I still hadn’t received a reply. I wondered whether to pop into my local travel agent!
