Worldwide Journeys and Expeditions has expanded its South American portfolio to include Venezuela in its 2000 brochure. Prices lead in at £1,985 for 13 nights.



n cox and kings adds new world tour



Cox and Kings has added a Wonders of the New World tour which takes in Buenos Aires, the Iguassu Falls and Rio de Janeiro. The 11-day trip costs from £1,595.

South American Experience has a new tour combining a journey by rail from Cusco to Machu Picchu in Peru with a seven-night cruise around the Galapagos Islands. The 19-day trip starts at £3,350.



n avianca cuts fares to promote new flight



Colombian national carrier Avianca has a return fare of £357 to promote the launch this summer of its third weekly flight between Heathrow and Bogota. The fare is valid fromSeptember 1 to November 16 on flights from London to any point in Avianca’s South American network.



n encounter accounts for 2000 celebrations



Encounter has adjusted its Ecuador and Peruitineraries over themillennium period so clients can join in New Year celebrations. The 28-day Peru and the Incas tour, departing La Paz on December 18, will be in Cusco for December 31. Prices lead in at £1,285.
