Former Tui Travel customer director Tim Williamson is to join Monarch Travel Group as director of customer experience and marketing.
Williamson, who takes up his new role on July 1, is one of three director appointments announced by the group as part of a trading update today.
Marisa Blasco, currently pricing and yield management director for Hertz, will join as director of revenue management and network development and Adrian Tighe will take responsibility for commercial partnerships and business development.
Tighe is currently managing director of Transport and Borders, a business within G4S Group which provides outsourcing services to clients including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
Williamson, who left Ireland-based The Travel Department in January, has also co-founded Development Squared, a venture connecting business in the UK and Swaziland having spent time volunteering in the southern African nation after his departure from Tui.
