Brittany Ferries has extended its deal to market Gites de France product in the UK and Ireland until 2004.
Brittany, which established the deal in 1996, claims to have increased Gites de France sales by 230% to 19,000 rentals a year. It is forecasting that sales will increase by a further 15% a year over the next five years.
The company had a pool of nearly 1,400 gites to sell this year but the figure is set to rise to more than 1,500 nextseason.
