EasyJet off to a flier with peak period passenger rise

EasyJet started the summer peak period with a 2% rise in passengers.

Figures for July show that numbers went up to almost 6 million over the same month last year.

The budget airline also saw annual carryings to the end of July rise by 4.3% to more than 60 million.

The July passenger load factor declined marginally from 91.6% to 92.5%.
