French cruise line and expedition specialist Compagnie du Ponant has launched a new online reservations portal for travel agents.
The line said the new portal would help to simplify the booking process.
Hervé Bellaïche, executive vice president sales director, said: “This latest project is one of a series of new developments from Compagnie du Ponant to assist travel agents.
“As well as being technically advanced, the tool is user-friendly, easy to access and designed to facilitate a simple sales process for agents.”
To help agents learn how to use the new system, a training programme has been created.
Compagnie du Ponant said the new booking system provides agents with a simple and direct method of booking port to port cruises.
Through the system agents will receive access to the cruise line’s complete portfolio of cruises and availability, as well as the latest fares and promotions.
Each agent will have their personal space on the portal and will be able to access new or existing booking files.
