Two joining Air France alliance

AIRFrance partners Korean Air and AeroMexico look set to be the first airlines to join the new Air France/Delta Air Lines global alliance.

Other carriers considering joining Air France and Delta include British Midland. The UK carrier is expected to choose between this tie-up and Star Alliance later this month.

Meanwhile, Air France is considering a proposal from Delta to allow it to take seats on Concorde.

Part of the agreement for Concorde, which is being refurbished for the first time since 1994, is for Delta to feed passengers on to the aircraft by launching early-morning Boston and Washington flights to New York JFK for services to Paris.
