Former Voyages of Discovery managing director Alan Murray has joined aircraft charter firm Air Partner as inclusive tours programmes director within its commercial jets division.
Prior to the cruise line he was managing director of First Aviation and a director of Monarch Airlines.
His appointment comes as the company seeks to increase its presence in the inclusive tour sector having launched flying programmes for Silver Ski, Olympic, Sunvil and GIC since April.
Paul Argyle, product director commercial jets of Air Partner, said: “Alan’s experience and understanding of the Inclusive Tour Sector complement Air Partners’ strategy to grow its presence in this area. Alan’s management experience, strong network and proven track record are ideally placed to help the commercial jet division grow and achieve its strategic aims.”
Murray added: “I am confident we can develop this further and look forward to working with the team both in the UK and overseas.”
