With National Cruise Week nearly upon us, Travel Weekly is rounding up the deals available during the week long festivities.
Regent Seven Seas is offering free internet for cruises booked during National Cruise Week – which runs from September 21-29. They are also sending guests who book during this week leather luggage tags from Aspinal.
Royal Caribbean International is offering $100 onboard spend for each room booked on sailings in the Caribbean and Europe departing between October 1 and December 31 this year.
To celebrate the sixth National Cruise Week, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines are offering a ‘20% : £20’ incentive, with agents taking bookings during the week benefiting from an enhanced commission rate of 20%. The offer is applicable to all departure dates and all fares, including special offers. In addition, agents who are members of Clia will receive £20 in Love2shop vouchers per booking.
Luxury French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant is offering free champagne as part of a VIP welcome aboard package and €200 on board credit per cabin. Quote VIP NCW to benefit from the offer.
MSC Cruises is celebrating the week by offering free drink packages for any 2013/14 bookings. The package offered depends on the cabin booked. Guests booked in a suite cabin receive a free ‘Allegrissmo All inclusive’ package; guests in a balcony cabin get a free ‘cheers’ drinks package; and guests booked on an outside or inside cabin will receive a free ‘Allergro’ package.
Hurtigruten already has early booking discounts of up to 25% off 2013 and 2014 bookings but is offering an additional 5% off for bookings made during cruise week. Agents will also receive a free limited edition brand apron. In addition, Hurtigruten is giving away three £50 shopping vouchers to agents who enter their competition. The competition embraces the tea party theme set for cruise week and the company is asking agents to re-name the Hurtigruten ships with a culinary theme (for example MS Trufflefjord for the MS Trollfjord and MS Richtea With for Richard With). Tall ship company Star Clippers is offering free cabin upgrades on any voyage to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Cuba or any of the longer ocean cruisers. The cabin paid for will be upgraded by one category.
Holland America Line is offering savings of up to £1,500 during cruise week.
Oceania is offering free gratuities worth up to £199 and Wi-Fi on 14 selected sailings for bookings between March and September next year. A bonus $200 on board spend per stateroom is also available.
