More than 1,500 staff are being recruited by Tui Travel for summer 2014.
The group’s various tour operating brands are looking to attract candidates for over 100 different job roles across nine different countries.
Applications have opened for summer 2014 for the most popular roles, such as overseas customer advisors and childcare, with the aim of getting all 1,500 staff on resort by April 1.
The company has brought eight of its brands under one roof with a single website handling all recruitment for customer-facing roles in Thomson, First Choice, JCA, Sunsail, Travelbound, Crystal Ski, Ski Bound Holidays and Flexiski.
The portal gives potential employees ‘one stop shop’ access to information about the specific brands and the roles the UK businesses are recruiting for.
A smartphone and tablet-friendly version of the website is to be introduced next month.
Recruitment was previously handled by individual brands.
Group HR director Jacky Simmonds said: “This change will mean recruitment for UK roles at many Tui Travel businesses are now housed under one roof.
“This includes not only overseas roles, but also airline, retail and call centre opportunities. Our current and prospective employees will have the opportunity to move around the brands or roles within head offices.
“The benefit to our current employees is that they can easily move within the group and develop an exciting lifelong career within Tui Travel. This is mutually beneficial to both our staff and customers, as employees will have a greater understanding of the business as a whole.”
