EasyJet unveils 10 new routes for summer 2014 schedule

Three domestic services have been included as easyJet unveiled a further 10 new routes as part of its summer 2014 schedule.

Gatwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and Belfast will gain additional services.

The new routes include Gatwick to Jersey and Gatwick to Newcastle following easyJet acquiring Flybe’s take-off and landing slots at the London airport. Paris and Brittany are also added to the airline’s Gatwick network.

Belfast international airport gains flights to Bordeaux and Jersey.

Heraklion and Bodrum will be served from Edinburgh, while Split and Kos will be served from Glasgow.

The move adds one million seats to the budget airline’s capacity for next summer, with more than 21.6 million going on sale from today.

Group commercial director Cath Lynn said: “Adding even further choice for passengers throughout the UK at affordable prices is always our aim at easyJet.

“From Gatwick we have increased our already comprehensive range of destinations, making even more business sense for corporate travellers to choose easyJet.”
