Costa Cruises to invest millions in revamp of three ships

Costa Cruises is to invest €10 million in maintenance work on three of its ships.

Costa Voyager, Costa neoRiviera and Costa Classica will all be serviced in Genoa this month as part of the cruise line’s investment in quality and sustainbility.

The work at San Giorgio del Porto shipyard will see more than 100 people carry out maintenance work on the ships.

Voyager’s maintenance work will take two weeks and began yesterday. Work will be carried out on the hull and engine section.

NeoRiviera will be in the shipyard until Tuesday and renovations will be carried out to the open-air decks and inside guest areas.

Classica will be in the shipyard between November 12 and December 21 for routine maintenance carried out every 36 months. The work will involve the hull and engine section and the hotel.
