Virgin Atlantic’s domestic arm Little Red doubling its complimentary baggage allowance immediately after Christmas.
The baggage promotion will run from Boxing Day to February 2 on flights between Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Manchester to Heathrow.
Passengers will be able to check in two 23kg bags each plus additional sports luggage free of charge.
Little Red is also offering discounted fares during the period, with return flights from Edinburgh and Manchester from £88 and £89 and Aberdeen from £99
The airline also claims to be the only option for travel between London and `Edinburgh on Christmas Day when other air services and trains are cancelled.
