P&O Cruises and Cunard launch £10k agent giveaway

Fifty five prizes worth a total of £10,000 are being given away to agents by P&O Cruises and Cunard during a nine-week ‘wave’ peak booking period promotion.

Agents must make a booking between December 26 and February 28 and enter online for a chance to win.

One pre-loaded credit card worth £500 and five worth £100 can be won each week.

Agents who book more than 20 cruises will be netered into a prize draw to win £1,000.

An ‘Agent Guide to Wave’ is being issued early in the new year with tops tips to sell the sister lines.

Sales and distribution support director Chris Truscott (pictured) said: “I think this is our best and by far the most flexible agent offer promotion we’ve ever had.

“We have £10,000 worth of pre-loaded credit cards to give away, for winning agents to spend on whatever they want, when they want.

“It’s quite simply credit where credit’s due – giving something back to agents who work so hard to sell P&O Cruises and Cunard.”

Truscott added: “I’ve said before we want to recognise and reward our agent partners, and I believe this wave promotion combined with our new 7.5% commission rate, really delivers.”

Both P&O Cruises and Cunard customers receive additional complimentary on board spending money on all cruises departing from spring 2014 onwards for bookings made by the end of February. Single travellers receive double complimentary on board spending money when travelling in a twin cabin and paying a single occupancy supplement.

The complimentary on board credit offer is combinable with P&O Cruises Select Fare and Cunard Fare booking benefits which include a choice of one of on board spending money, car parking in Southampton, return coach travel to Southampton or airport parking on fly-cruises.

The P&O Cruises offers will be part of a high-profile campaign over the Christmas period, which includes new TV advertising starting on Boxing Day while a Cunard print campaign will run in national newspapers and glossy magazines from December 27.
