THE UK Chapter of the Asia Travel Marketing Association is to launch its own Internet site with information and news specifically for travel agents.
The site will be a UK version of AsiaTMA’s new global Web site, which can be found at www.asiatravel.org
AsiaTMA’s UK regional director Kim Romanski said the association had given the go-ahead for the UK chapter to have its own Web site, which she said should be available shortly.
“The AsiaTMA Web site is for consumers as well as the trade, but the UK site will be specifically for agents,” she added.
AsiaTMA confirmed at its annual general meeting this month that it will hold four agency workshops between October 1999 and May 2000.
They will be held in Bristol, the Channel Islands, and in Leeds or Bradford and Sheffield or Liverpool.
Dates for the workshops have yet to be confirmed.
