Nile cruise specialist Orbital Travel is diversifying into European river cruising.
The cruises are on 4-star vessels with 80-90 cabins, which can moor close to shore and in city centres.
Itineraries are based on rivers including the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Po in Italy and the Guadalquivir and Guadiana in Spain and Portugal.
Cruises begin and end in cities such as Paris on the Seine, Budapest and Vienna on the Danube, and Seville on the Guadalquivir and Venice.
Each cruise has optional guided shore excursions which can be pre-booked or booked on board, and departures are by air or rail.
Prices lead in at £935 per person, including Eurostar rail travel, transfers on a seven-night all inclusive basis in a twin share cabin.
Managing director John McCallum said: “Offering a range of European river cruises is really a natural development for us as we have been Nile cruise specialists for a number of years now.
“The cruises offer great value for money as they are on an all-inclusive basis. We have the flexibility to offer departures by air or by rail and we can also organise hotel stays as an extension to the cruise.”
