Royal Caribbean International is offering an incentive on bookings made by agents made by the end of the week after the line decided not to showcase at the London Cruise Show.
The cruise line said it would be the first time that agents have been able to benefit from offers usually available at trade shows for direct bookings.
Ben Bouldin, sales director, said it was a decision which would be beneficial to the trade.
“If a potential customer attends the cruise show they will generally get a good deal to book there and then direct with the cruise company,” he said.
“We want to work with our trade partners to make sure our best offers are available to all of their customers this weekend. Cruise holidaymakers no longer have to go to Olympia to get the best deal and we will be running a special offer of $400 onboard credit for all potential guests to enjoy, not just restricted to those who attend the show.”
The credit applies to staterooms on selected sailings of seven nights or more, departing between April 1 and December 31, on bookings made between tomorrow (March 20) and March 24.
The offer is not applicable to Quantum of the Seas bookings.
