All Nippon Airways today announced the selection of 40 Boeing widebody aircraft worth $13 billion as part of a strategic fleet renewal.
The agreement includes 14 787-9 extended range Dreamliners, 20 777-9X, and six 777-300ERs.
Boeing commercial airplanes president and chief executive Ray Conner said: “ANA and Boeing share a long and successful partnership that spans more than five decades.
“ANA helped launched the 787 Dreamliner with Boeing, and we are honoured to once again have ANA as an early customer of the 777X family of airplanes.
“We are very proud that they operate an all-Boeing widebody fleet.”
