Dense fog was affecting flights at a number of airports this morning, including Heathrow and Cardiff.
Heathrow said: “The fog here and around the UK is leading to some flight delays and cancellations.”
Eurocontrol described the fog at Heathrow as being “quite significant” and persisting while there were flights disrupted from Cardiff.
Passengers were urged to check the status of their flights in advance.
