Former Hays Travel head of recruitment and sales Linda Pyle is joining Barrhead Travel to develop its Brilliant Travel brand.
She has taken the role of managed service travel partner and homeworking director following 12 years at Hays Travel, having previously worked for British Airways and Lunn Poly.
Brilliant Travel, launched in August last year with 15 managed service branches and 16 homeworkers, was previously led by Trevor Davis, who left in February after seven months with the company.
Pyle said: “Retail travel agents on the high street, in a call centre environment, and online, are incredibly important in the current climate as the travel industry continues to grow.
“Barrhead Travel’s technology is the best in the business and helps build on the fantastic service it already offers to customers.
“I’m looking forward to helping grow the Brilliant Travel business and expand its vision for the future.”
