Eight recruitment roadshows are planned across the UK by Travel Counsellors on the back of an 11% increase in agents joining the business since the start of the year.
The events will run from April 10 until May 1 following a rise in enquiries from agents looking to run their own travel business from home.
The roadshows will be held in Cambridge, London, East Midlands, Edinburgh, York, Liverpool, Bristol and Belfast.
Three mini conferences will also be held in Manchester, Birmingham and London (April 28, 29 and 30) when its agents from across the country meet in the region closest to them to hear about the latest news and developments from the company’s directors and management team.
Managing director Steve Byrne said: “Despite the reported upturn in the economy there are still many experienced and talented travel professionals facing uncertainty in their current roles.
“We offer those within the industry the opportunity to take control of their careers and reap the rewards of their hard work.”
He added: “The business development support and technology we offer means agents can focus on what they do best – selling travel and delivering the levels of personal service that their customers deserve, whilst remaining in control of their own margin and the product they sell.
“That is why our recruitment figures continue to increase as we are able to offer a secure future to those who want to build successful travel businesses.”
