Tui Travel-owned Gullivers Sports Travel is to be the official travel partner for a new electric racing car championship.
Formula E is a new motor racing concept using electric single-seat race cars which starts this September in Beijing.
The cars will compete in the heart of 10 cities including London, Miami and Buenos Aires. Ten teams, each with two drivers, will go head-to-head in the series.
Gullivers will manage travel requirements for Formula E personnel together with each of the 10 teams.
The company will also offer followers transport, accommodation and race tickets. Fans will be offered VIP packages and a visa application service.
Tui Event Group managing director Chad Lion-Cachet said: “This is a fantastic deal for the event division and the Gulliver Sports Travel brand. “It’s the same for fans who will also benefit from the bespoke travel service enabling them to combine a trip to a Formula E event with a longer holiday and enjoy everything each of our host cities has to offer.”
